One day an acquaintance I'd known in the Ashram asked to visit my seaside home on a gray and drizzly day to film me walking to the ocean, so he could have a pleasant scene to inaugurate and test out his new camera and editing system. Walking to the ocean was one of my favorite spiritual practices, as I'd repeat a mantra, sing an internal song, breathe deeply, appreciate nature's beauty, contemplate the day, smile at passersby, move rhythmically, and receive health benefits, all together. Here is his six-minute interpretation of the walk.

In this video, you'll see students of an especially beautiful and expressive form of dance from Orissa, India. This style of dance is an excellent representation of the combination of movement with ancient scriptures, methods, and legends, and a lovely celebration of the Divine Mother in each dancer, from young girls to young adults. The musical tapestry is also special and brings the kind of healing powers that come from music that is in harmony with the ancient vedas.
